LOUISVILLE SECTION PLACEMENT

The ASQ Louisville Section Placement Service assists members in finding new positions in a timely, efficient, and convenient fashion. This service is free of charge for members seeking employment, as well as for firms who are offering Quality-related positions.

Louisville Section members, as well as non-members, can now check on the latest job opportunities online. Our Placement Chair maintains the Placement Service on this web site, where you will find the current job listings and a form to request posting of new positions.

Offering Quality-related positions? All firms who are offering Quality-related positions are encouraged to post such positions free of charge. Positions can be submitted using the page available here. Please provide information about:

1. Position offered (Title)
2. Company name
3. Contact name, telephone, fax, and address
4. Location
5. Brief description of the position and its requirements

All open positions will be entered into a database. The list of openings will be made available to all members who are seeking new employment and on the Internet. Open positions will be posted for approximately 90 days, or until we receive notice that the position is filled. To keep a position posted for more than 90 days, it has to be re-submitted.

IMPORTANT! We will NOT release the names of job-seeking members or any other member information to companies or recruiters. Members who are interested in a position will establish contact themselves.


ASQ Placement Resources

ASQ offers a variety of resources to those seeking employment in the Quality field.

    The following services are provided free to ASQ members:
  • Personnel Listing Service (PLS). A semi-monthly job bulletin listing the latest employment opportunities in the Quality field within the United States. The PLS is mailed to members during the second and fourth weeks of the month, and a six-month subscription is available upon request.

  • Resume-Matching Service. Provided through Resume-Link, this service allows organizations to request a database search of ASQ members in order to locate qualified candidates. A member's education, experience, and background can be matched to job opportunities requiring specific abilities.

  • ASQ Net. Allows members to search for jobs, apply online and post resumes. To access ASQ Net, enter the Career Services area at www.asqnet.org.
