Main Session: Joint meeting with IFT (Institute for Food Technology). Our speaker will be Mark Reed of the Kentucky Food Safety Dept., and he will be talking about the new bioterrorism laws.

Mini Session: 5:30 p.m. U of L student Dinesh Swamynathan will make a presentation, related to monitoring auto correlated processes.

Main Session: Six Sigma Black Belt, Rich Lane, Director of Mechanical Engineering for FKILogistex, will share his expertise on Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) techniques, and demonstrate the benefits of quantifying equipment behavior using data. Real life examples will be used to demonstrate how statistics can be used to design equipment for Six Sigma performance.

Mini Session: Round-table Discussion. We’ll hear from members of the Section Leadership Committee and other ASQ members who attended the World Quality Conference in Orlando, April 30-May 2.
