When are the Section Meetings?
The Louisville Section meets monthly, September through May, on the
second Thursday evening of the month, unless otherwise listed.
The
meetings are normally held at Mastersons Food & Drink, 1830 South
Third Street, Louisville, KY

How else can I get information on what is happening in the Section?
The Section publishes a monthly newsletter, the Sigma, September
through May. This goes out to all Section members and some other ASQ
office holders. If you would like a sample copy, contact the Sigma
editor, Peggy Clements.

Can I advertise my business to the Section members?
Yes, you can place an ad in the Sigma newsletter, on the Website, or
both. The Sigma newsletter reaches about 500 quality professionals

Can the Section help me get a job?
Yes. Members can advertise themselves in our newsletter and be listed

Yes. Employers of section members can advertise quality related
positions at no charge. Contact Michael Waterman.
6.
How can I participate in the Section?
Come to a meeting and meet fellow members. Publish a quality-related
article or news event in the Sigma. The Section needs volunteers in

7. Who are the

8. What about using the Internet more
for the section?
We are going to use the Internet increasingly for a variety of
applications. Why, we even offer advertising space to "Quality"
vendors!
Employment Opportunities and Industry News. We will publish the
Membership List to the Web to encourage intra-section Networking
(Password-Protected). We will
solicit ideas and suggestions from the membership. We will furnish the
Sigma Newsletter via the Web, thus saving Postage Costs. We will
also enhance our Training and Certification Education activities.
The Section's Website has been up and running for over five years now,
and has proved to be a great success so far. Thanks go to everyone that
helped and provided ideas and
direction. Suggestions are always welcome and encouraged, so don't
